Wanderers welcome Tata Steel to kick off league season

League rugby is back! To kick off the modified 21-22 season we welcome Tata Steel to the Memorial Ground.
“To say its been an unusual pre season is somewhat of an understatement” commented Mark Gould team manager. “We’ve had some real selection dilemmas but hopefully the league will now focus everyone’s attention.
The Wanderers make several changes to the side defeated in the Mallett up last week. Up front Jack James takes over at hooker and he is partnered in the front row by Olly Drake . Rob Weston reverts to his normal position at number 8 and after a try scoring debut last week CJ Davies remains at blindside. Behind the scrum there is a start for Caven Slade at 10 and Will Adams Jones gets a start after his run out off the bench last week
