Wanderers add “Cowboy” to Roll of honour

At yesterday’s Llantrisant game the Wanderers were presented with a picture of CL “Cowboy” Davies by the man himself to add to the International pictures adorning the Sir Tasker Watkin Lounge.

CL was Captain at the Wanderers in 1960 and was capped on the wing by Wales in the 1956 Five nations championship. In his 3 caps he scored on debut in the win against England and scored again in the win over Scotland before appearing in the loss to Ireland (in which he didn’t score)

He presented Chairman Gerry Blake and Mossy O’Brien with his picture which will be added to the Wanderers roll of honour.
