Wanderers athletic 94
Llandaff Athletic 24
In a thrilling and action-packed encounter, Glamorgan Wanderers Athletic secured a commanding 94-24 victory, thanks to some standout individual performances and solid teamwork across the pitch.
The game started with a bang, as Asanje Mofor lit up the memorial ground with an incredible 80-meter stunner straight from the kick-off. His spectacular long-range effort set the tone for what would be a high-scoring affair.
Cameron Atkinson was a constant threat in attack, weaving through defenders and creating scoring opportunities throughout the game. His electric pace and vision kept the opposition on the back foot and proved vital in opening up space for his teammates.
The starof the day, however, was Ollie Wong, who notched up a brilliant hat trick of tries. Wong’s finishing was clinical, exploiting gaps in the defense to cross the line three times and add significant points to the scoreboard.
A key factor in Athletic’s dominance was the strength of the forwards. Their powerful scrummaging and work in the tight exchanges laid a solid platform for the backs to unleash their attacking flair. The forwards controlled the set-piece, winning crucial possession and allowing the backs to play with freedom and confidence.
With Athletic firing on all cylinders, they ran away with the game, tallying an impressive 94 points, while the opposition fought valiantly to add 24 points to their tally.
