The New Year begins and the Wanderers welcome Narberth RFC who make the trip East to the Memorial Ground. Fortunately, despite the Covid regulations, we have found a way to get the game played and we thank Narberth for their understanding and help in this matter.
For the 1st game of 2022 the Wanderers make several changes to the side that travelled to Bargoed pre-Christmas.
Up front Eddie Drake returns after a concussion lay off, Rob Weston starts in the second row and Joe Paige gets his first start. Behind the scrum the half backs of Zac Fifield and Cavan Slade continue their partnership and Tom Hughes moves back to the midfield after several starts at fullback.
