Sad News

News has reached us the Wilf Mcloughlin one time 1st XV Rub-A-Dub has passed away at the age of 96.

Wilf was an ever present at the club famed for his blue tracksuit and always with a towel around his neck tucked into his collar whilst attending to injuries with a “magic sponge”. He was a true gentleman.

He became a Vice President and was an elder statesman on our tour of Portugal in 1994 where he officially became one of the “wrinklies”

His funeral will be held on Monday (13th), 2.30pm at Langstone/Magor crematorium nr M4 J26. This will be followed by wake at Parkway hotel, Cwmbran.
