Glamorgan Wanderers RFC are a local rugby team based in Ely, Cardiff. Founded in 1893 they are now firmly established at their base at The Memorial Ground, Stirling Road, Ely. With a highly successful junior and youth policy the Wanderers are able to offer the following playing opportunities:
• 1st XV – currently playing in the SWALEC Championship
• Development Team – currently playing in the WRU 2nd XV League
• Youth XV – currently playing in the RAF Careers BA League
• Minis & Juniors Section
From the young to the old, the small to the large, the Wanderers has a host of opportunities for all ages both on and off the pitch. As well as events on the pitch the Wanderers can boast of a number of vibrant social activities in its clubhouse – which consists of the Players Bar, the Fox Hunter Lounge and the Members’ Bar.
