 GLAMORGAN WANDERERS RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB

Vs

LLANHARAN

“They say when you fall off a bike you have to get straight back on. This Saturday is just like that. There was a massive effort in the game that we should have won against Newbridge. It will help the boys to play again this Saturday” commented head coach Matthew Bolton

“One of our best performances of the season. The commitment was superb, scrum impressive and defence outstanding. Unfortunately some silly penalties and a moment of madness cost us dearly” added manager Luke Burton.

For the second game in four days the Wanderers are forced into a number of changes because a number of players being away and unavailable.  Behind the scrum Mike Smith returns to partner Gareth Cull in midfield, Mike Stephens starts on the wing and the scrum halves swap with Tim Cronin starting and taking over the captaincy. Up front Rhys Jenkins returns at loosehead with Haval Ibrahim dropping to the bench and with Alex Luff on stadium duty, son of ex-wanderer legend Owain Williams, Henry starts in the boiler house. Ryan Davies joins the squad for the first time as back row cover.
