Wanderers brace themselves for Bonymaen Challenge

GLAMORGAN WANDERERS RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB

Vs

BONYMAEN

“One of those pivotal weekends in a season, a defeat puts massive pressure on us but a win might lead to a real revival” commented head coach Matthew Bolton before the visit of Bonymaen.

“We should have come away with a win last weekend, the boys know they have the talent and they are creating the chances. It is surely only a matter of time before it clicks” added manager Luke Burton.

For the visit of Bonymaen coach Matthew Bolton is forced into some shuffling again. Up front Dave Ellis gets his first start after impressing everyone when he came off the bench last Saturday and in the front row there is a change with Haval Ibrahim starting at loosehead this week. Behind the scrum Luke O’Brien is injured therefore Tom James deputises at scrum half and Mike Smith makes his long awaited return to the centre alongside Charlie Johnson. On the subs bench John George returns after taking time out travelling and there is a spot for strong running scrum half Taniella Vaninitu after impressing with the Dev Squad.
