Wanderers look to bounce back

GLAMORGAN WANDERERS RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB

Vs

WHITLAND

We’ve given a vote of confidence to the pack but we must be more creative and clinical with the possession we have” commented head coach Matthew Bolton before the visit of Whitland to the Memorial Ground.

“Our backs seem to lack confidence (a surprise in Charlie’s case!) to finish moves off. They don’t back themselves when chances arrive” added backs coach Gareth Cull.

For the reappearance of Whitland at the memorial ground after a number of years the Wanderers make more changes to their squad. Mike Stephens comes in at full back for Josh Hurley (illness), Ed Doe starts on the wing and once again there is a new half back pairing Owen Thomas returns at 10 to be partnered with young Luke O’Brien. Up front the props are shuffled with Tom Crosse starting instead of Gruff Roberts and Garrick Armstrong comes into the side at blindside after starting last week on the bench. Stuart Worrell increase the back row competition and gets his first outing in the squad after impressing for the Development Squad in the last two weeks.
