Wanderers finish Pre-season Prep

The Wanderers finished their pre-season preparation with a hard fought victory over Fairwater RFC.

Martyn Fowler commented “Immediately after the game we were disappointed with the level of performance but on reflection we are likely to have several games this season where things don’t go our way and we have to dig out a win against the odds. Thursday was one of those local derbies of which there will be several this year and we must find a way to win those games”

The game also saw the continued development of some of the younger Wanderers and one of those Anthony Cox was asked to step up and turn out for Cardiff on the weekend which he did. In fact he scored a try on debut and c detainly has a bright future ahead of him.
