Wanderers take delivery of defibrillator

Following  fund raising at Steff Simpson’s testimonial game last May and with the kind generosity of Steff and Kevin Dwyer, a clinical lead team leader of the Welsh Ambulance service, the Wanderers have taken delivery of a defibrillator which will be placed in the bar at the club.

Chairman of the rugby committee Chris Dowell Bennett said “With many people of all ages attending all sorts of events at the throughout the year at the club we felt that we should do everything we can to ensure people’s safety and a defibrillator could prove the difference between life and death whilst medical aid is being sort”

There will now be a programme of instruction for the staff and some of the rugby personnel to use the Defibrillator.
